These anvil bases offer a perfectly flat base to rest the base of your case against whilst measuring, either the cartridge overall length (COAL) or when using the comparator kit to measure base to ogive (CBTO) of your rounds, and prevents induced measuring errors when resting purely on the caliper jaw.

All of our anvils are made of 303 stainless steel and brass and will work with any case/cartridge.

• Thumb-screw anvils are convenient but may not be as "true". Perfect for convenience, however, for those reloaders who take the anvil on/off for each session.

• Grub-screw anvils will sit flush on the caliper jaws, and offer secure gripping with 4 grub-screws for perfect alignment (2 on each side). Perfect for reloaders who leave the anvil attached to the caliper most of the time.

• Screw-in anvils are custom designed to interface with the comparator kit main body, and allow you to keep the body on the caliper whilst reloading, and use the headspace insert or bullet insert, and then swap for a flat anvil. Perfect for use in conjunction with one of the other types of anvil on the caliper jaw, to give a perfectly flat surface when measuring, for instance, case overall length (trim length).
