We also recommend using thread glue such as Locktite or super glue for added security and to prevent damage to your rifle action or shearing of screws. 
Extreme temperatures won’t affect the stability of our stress-relieved Picatinny rails. Unlike non-stress-relieved materials that may warp or change shape in freezing winter or hot summer days, our stress-relieved steel is more stable and less likely to experience such issues.
